Cutting EPS with hotwire has a certain speed limit, even with the most expensive oscillating frame you will not reahc higher speeds than 2m/min at 15g/l density. This is the bottle neck for the output.
Not with this new concept, which has been built for one of our customers in Austria, here the block is cut with 4m long wires through the width, which reduces cutting time drastically.
The capacity of this line is 35 to 40 blocks of 4.0 x 1.2 x 1.0m (i.e. 40 x 4.8 = 192 m3) per hour.
In addition to the capacity it needs less space in length due to the U-shape.
