The history of EPS-MACHINERY is linked to the names of a few good men, who were the pioneers in this industry and created the basis for todays technology.
Companies like KINDERMANN, KERNEN, RAUSCHER, LENDLE, DINGELDEIN and WIESER were the first to build the blockmoulds, preexpanders and cutting lines for the EPS converters, later came MÜNCHOW & HÜHNE, KURTZ, IDROPRESS, MOLDEX, POLIPOR CARCANO and ERLENBACH.
Today you have a large variety of EPS machinery builders, most of them have their roots in the companies mentioned above. Of course we also have some new competitors from far east, who make everything cheaper than in Europe, which is fair enough for markets, where HIGH-TECH equipment is not yet required, but in the long run may badly influence the progress in development of new systems for this branch :

In this small community, where the world was a "global village" long before the invention of the internet, the developments for production machines are based upon the actual needs of the EPS processors. Very often the ideas for new configurations or techniques are created by the user, whereas the machinery builder must react with utmost attention and flexibility to pick up these ideas and create new machinery without loosing money.
