MDI offer a range of possible joint types to suit the market need. To form the typical N-Lock joint, MDI machines only utlilise 50mm. This means, that if you only can purchase 1250mm wide steel as in Europe, then the MDI system can be set up to allow a 1200mm wide panel to be produced. Other suppliers only offer a joint using 60mm of steel that will result in only 1190mm module panel. |

The top rebate trimmer is fully floating. This allows the MDI machine to be able to change thickness during operation. This feature is again exclusive to the MDI machine.
Integrated in the loading and feeding station, MDI supplies a milling head to make fingerjoints at the front and end ot the EPS sheets, which are used as core material. In addition to that MDI offers powerful single- or double drum sanders to eliminate any "joint" problem due to inaccuracies of the EPS. |
