MDI has designed a new compact system for moulded pulp :
In the year 2003, Brian Donovan of MDI designed the first PULP MOULDING MACHINE using a thermoforming process. The shuttle type system works very well for quality products with high accuracy and a good finish is needed. While EPS packaging items can not be shipped very far, the pulp moulded shapes can, since the pieces can be stacked together and therefore use less space during transportation.
