The preexpansion process is the most sensitive part of EPS production, if you choose a system which is not accurate, you may either pre-expand your bead too low, creating quality problems in the final product, or too high which means you use too much raw-material and loose money.
Homogenous preexpansion with lowest density variation, fast cycle ( i.e. high capacity ) and the suitable fluid-bed dryer, these are the minimum requirements for a preexpansion system.
